UFO is a manifestation that was held for the first time from 17th to 19th June 2004 in Osijek, in the old part of the town, called Tvrdja, by river Drava. UFO is a music event which aims to gather not so well known bands, individual artists and DJs from around Croatia, providing them with an opportunity to appear and perform on the big stage, with an excellent sound system (30KW), in front of a large audience, and with many journalists and agents present.
As a part of the festival we will provide some additional happenings for our visitors in Tvrdja, such as performances, art exhibitions and displays, open-air cinema, and other similar activities.
It is our goal to establish an internationally known festival and to revive the cultural and urban scene in our town. This event would help promote Osijek as the city of young people, education and culture, and would also aid towards the prosperity of our region.
